Hey there! I’m Melissa, the heart and hands behind Beauty by Lissa, and I’m so glad you found me! A little about me—I'm newly married to my best friend, and we share our home (and a lot of laughs) with our two adorable fur babies, Laci and Lyla. They’ve definitely mastered the art of being spoiled!
I’m completely self-taught (shoutout to YouTube for getting me started!) and fell in love with makeup because of how it transforms more than just looks—it boosts confidence. My passion is helping women feel beautiful, radiant, and like the best version of themselves. There’s nothing better than seeing a bride look in the mirror and say, “Wow, that’s me!”
When I’m not playing with makeup, you’ll probably find me whipping up something new in the kitchen (I love experimenting with recipes) or planning my next adventure. Traveling is one of my favorite ways to refuel and find inspiration.

I can't tell you enough good things about this lovely lady. She is professional, kind, and extremely fun to work with. She has such a bright and sunny personality which made everyone feel calm and relaxed. She takes her job very seriously and provides excellence in what she does. She made me feel so beautiful and confident on my wedding day and did the same for my wedding party. She was great at getting back to me through the entire wedding planning process. She got in contact with my hair stylist and made a plan to make sure my day ran as smoothly as possible. This was above and beyond for me and took the stress off of me for the big day. She was even willing to help me with my skin care issues to help me reach my best skin for my big day! All of her supplies were clean and fresh and she puts in hours to make sure of this.
